Obtaining documents from Serbia, even while you are abroad

Need a Serbian birth certificate to get married in Germany, a criminal record certificate for a job in Canada or a citizenship certificate for a residence permit? You do not need to travel to Serbia. We obtain the document from the competent authority, apostille and translate it, and send the finished package to your address.

Documents we most often obtain

  • Birth, marriage and death certificates, including international (multilingual) forms
  • Certificate of citizenship
  • Criminal record certificate (from the Ministry of the Interior)
  • Certificate of no criminal proceedings or indictments
  • Certificate of no impediment to marriage (single status)
  • Business register (APR) extracts and other company documents
  • Duplicates of diplomas and school certificates (in cooperation with the school or university)
  • Certificate of residence and other administrative certificates

How it works

  1. You send us your details and, where the authority requires it, a power of attorney or consent
  2. We check the competent authority and how long issuing takes
  3. We obtain the document and, if you wish, add the apostille and a certified translation
  4. We send you a scan to check, then the original by courier

Good to know

For some documents, especially the criminal record certificate, the authority requires personal data and a power of attorney or the applicant's consent. We use your personal data solely to obtain the document you ordered.

Many foreign institutions only accept documents issued in the last 3 or 6 months. If the document also needs an apostille and translation, allow for that time too.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order a document for a family member?

For most civil register extracts, yes, if you have a legitimate interest. A criminal record certificate requires a power of attorney from the person it concerns.

Can I receive the document electronically only?

Most uses abroad require the original with an apostille, but we always email a scan as well so you can check the details.
